Closing the Precision Care Gap: Pathology, Data, and Partnerships to Help More Patients Benefit From Targeted Therapy

Precision oncology can save lives, but too many patients still don’t receive the full benefit. How can we close clinical practice gaps across the pathway? CAP pathologists are working to improve patient access through initiatives such as Biomarker OneSource and the use of real-world laboratory performance data. Join us for a panel discussion with industry and laboratory medicine leaders examining efforts to address testing, treatment, and implementation barriers.

Join us for the opening session, where all members are invited to connect and stay informed with updates from CAP leadership. The 2026 Business Meeting of the Membership includes the approval of CAP25 Meeting of the Membership minutes, the State of the CAP report, recognition of outgoing Governors, installation of new Governors, and the President’s Address.

Shaped by your elected delegates, the HOD agenda addresses the most important topics for CAP members. Open to all members, and with no registration fee, the Fall HOD meeting is ideal for networking, interacting with CAP leaders, and forging new professional relationships.
